Decision:

before i got this thing, my car had a close call with a leak from a window seal that i didn't notice until it was almost too late—had to dry out the mats and it was a mess. now, with this sensor in place, it beeps or lights up when it senses water, which has saved me from a couple of potential disasters, like when my kid left a bottle open. it's not perfect, though; once it went off just from condensation, which was annoying. compared to other options i looked at, this one was cheaper and easier to install, but some others might have more features. overall, it does what it says, but i'm not completely thrilled—it's a decent guard against turning my car into a swimming pool, but i expected a bit more for the money. would i recommend it? yeah, if you're on a tight budget and want basic protection.

• Pros: i really like how easy it was to set up, no need for help from anyone else. it seems very good at catching any water that shouldn't be there, whether from a spill or something outside. the small size makes it easy to hide away in my car without anyone noticing, and it works in different vehicles, which is handy.
• Cons: it doesn't seem to do much beyond just alerting me, so i wish it could maybe stop the water or something. sometimes it feels a bit too sensitive, picking up on tiny things that aren't a big deal. and while it's affordable, i had to shop around a lot to find a good price, which was a bit of a hassle.
