as a healthcare worker with a busy schedule and kids at home, i'm always worried about leaks causing damage, especially in our older toronto house. i bought this on sale, hoping it would help, and it did—just last week, it detected a slow leak from the washing machine. the sound and light went off, and i got a notification on my phone instantly. it's simple to set up, and i appreciate that it doesn't need any wiring, so i can move it around. but i could be wrong, but sometimes it seems too sensitive, picking up minor humidity. overall, it's given me peace of mind, and for the price, it's a good deal. i'd recommend it to anyone wanting to avoid water disasters. 🏠💧
