i bought this doorbell to keep an eye on things for my family, especially with my child around, and overall, it does a good job, the wide view means i can see visitors from head to toe, which is great for safety, and not having monthly costs is a big plus, saving money in the long run, the battery life is impressive, lasting half a year without needing a charge, but i had to fiddle with the detection settings to reduce false alarms, and the app took some time to get used to, it works with my voice commands, which is fun and makes life easier, but i wish it was a bit simpler to set up, for the price, it's a solid choice, and i'd recommend it to others looking for a reliable way to monitor their home
- Pros: the view is extremely wide and clear, capturing everything around my door without missing a detail, and i love that it works without any extra fees, storing plenty of video on its own, the battery lasts for months on a single charge, which is very convenient, and it connects easily to my home network, plus i can use my voice to control it with my smart speaker, which feels modern and helpful
- Cons: as it seemed to me, the alerts can still be a bit off sometimes, mistaking things like leaves for people, which is annoying, and the app setup was a bit confusing at first for someone not too tech-savvy, making me feel a bit frustrated initially
