So, I got this Arlo bundle delivered on time, and right off the bat, I was excited because I'm usually loyal to their brand—I've had other stuff from them that worked great. But after using it for a couple of months, I have to say it's not without flaws. Compared to my previous doorbell cam, which was also wireless, this one has better image clarity in daylight and darkness, which is a plus. However, the viewing angle feels limited; it doesn't catch everything on my porch, and I've missed a few deliveries because of that. The motion alerts are fairly reliable, but sometimes they go off for small things like leaves blowing, which gets annoying. I appreciate the ease of installation—no tools needed, just a simple mount—and the live streaming to my phone is smooth. But the two-way audio isn't as crisp as I'd like; voices can sound distant or echoey, making conversations less effective. The built-in siren is loud and useful for scaring off critters, but I wish the battery lasted longer; I find myself charging it every few weeks, which is more often than my old model. Overall, it's a decent upgrade in some areas but falls short in others, leaving me a bit disappointed for the price. I'd recommend it with reservations, especially if you're okay with the subscription for extra features.
