i bought this for gaming and calls, hoping it would be a solid choice, but i'm a bit disappointed. at first, it seemed fine—the audio is decent, and the mic works as advertised, blocking out noise well. but after using it for a bit, the comfort is a real issue; it's too tight and not padded enough. the sound quality could be better too; it's not as immersive as i'd like for the price. i'm a rational buyer, so i weigh pros and cons, and here, the cons outweigh the pros. it does the job, but i expected more from audio technica. could be wrong, but i think there are better options out there. not terrible, but not great either.
- Pros: the sound is clear from every direction, which is nice for games, and the microphone does a good job of keeping my voice clear without picking up background noise. it worked instantly when i plugged it in, and i appreciate that it fits with both types of usb ports i have around.
- Cons: the build feels a bit cheap, like it could break easily, and the comfort isn't great for long sessions—my ears start to hurt after a while. the handheld controller is handy but a bit flimsy, and overall, it doesn't live up to what i expected from the brand.
