Before getting this lamp, I was using an old desk light that was always tethered to the wall and had clunky switches—it was a hassle, especially when I needed to focus on my freelance projects. Now, with this Cosy Homes lamp, things have improved a lot. The touch sensor is intuitive, and I can easily dim or brighten the light with a simple tap, which is very handy during late nights. The portability is a game-changer; I've taken it with me on a few trips, and it's lightweight enough not to be a burden. However, I'm a bit skeptical because the battery doesn't hold up as well as I expected—it could be wrong, but I feel it drains faster than advertised. Also, the manual was practically worthless, so I had to rely on trial and error, which was frustrating. Overall, it's a solid upgrade from what I had before, and it meets my needs for a flexible lighting solution, though it's not perfect. :)
- Pros: The touch control is very responsive and makes adjusting the light levels easy, which is great for my work. I appreciate that it's portable with a built-in battery, allowing me to move it around my desk or take it on trips without needing a power outlet nearby. The light itself is bright and doesn't get hot, which is a relief during long sessions.
- Cons: The manual that came with it is useless and didn't explain much, leaving me to figure things out on my own. The battery life could be better; it doesn't last as long as I'd hoped for extended use away from power. Sometimes the touch sensor feels a bit too sensitive and I accidentally change settings when I don't mean to.
