i bought this on a whim after my old phone broke, and it's been quite a reliable choice for my chaotic household. with multiple little ones running around, i needed something that could handle accidents, and this cubot phone definitely delivers on durability. the camera is a standout—it captures clear, detailed shots even when the lighting isn't perfect, which is perfect for all the impromptu photos and videos i take of my family. the large screen is nice for streaming shows during downtime, and i appreciate not having to constantly delete files to free up space. however, it's not the most comfortable to hold for long periods due to its size, and i've noticed it can slow down if i'm multitasking a lot. overall, it's a solid pick for someone like me who values toughness over style, but it might not be for everyone if you prefer something lighter and faster.
- Pros: i quite liked how tough this phone is; it survived a few drops from my toddler without a scratch, and the waterproofing came in handy when it took an unexpected dip in the sink. the screen is big and clear, making it easy to watch videos while the kids nap, and the camera takes sharp photos even in dim light, which is great for capturing those quick family moments. it feels solid in hand and has plenty of space for all my apps and photos, so no more worrying about running out of room.
- Cons: as it seemed to me, the phone can be a bit heavy and bulky, which makes it less sleek to carry around in a pocket or purse. sometimes the performance lags a bit when i have too many apps open, and the battery life isn't as long as i'd hoped, needing a charge by the end of a busy day with the kids.
