As a military guy who's seen his share of overhyped gadgets, I went into this with low expectations, thinking it might be another gimmick. I bought it on a whim after losing my remote during a move, hoping for something simple. The reality? It's actually pretty darn good. I was skeptical about the voice control, but it works quietly and effectively—no need to shout, just a normal tone gets the job done. It handles my main TV, a newer model, flawlessly, and I appreciate not having to mash buttons anymore. That said, the lack of any manual or support info was a letdown; I had to figure things out on my own, which was frustrating. For the cost, I expected better quality materials, but it does what it promises. Overall, it's made my TV time much easier, and I'd recommend it to others, though with a note to manage expectations on durability.
