As a brand loyalist I usually stick with what I know but I took a chance on this TOMTOP key expecting it to make my life easier with my car reality is it does unlock and start the engine from a distance which is handy for rainy days in Seattle but I feel a bit disappointed because I thought it would be more reliable the screen is nice and bright but Ive had moments where it didnt respond right away compared to others in the same price range its decent but not perfect for someone who travels a lot like me I need things to work every time without fail I guess I had high hopes and it fell short in some ways but it could be wrong maybe I just need to get used to it overall its okay but not amazing 😕
- Pros: I expected it to be a hassle but setting it up was incredibly easy just plug and play and it works with my car without any issues the screen is clear and responsive even in the dark which is a huge plus for me
- Cons: I was hoping for something more secure feeling but it could be wrong it just doesnt give me that vault like confidence I wanted and the range for starting the engine could be better sometimes it doesnt work from inside my house
