I had this problem with my pool always being too cold especially in the evenings and I wanted a solution that wouldn't break down easily given our water quality here this heater from Hayward came recommended it grew on me after a few uses as it does warm things up quickly and the front panel is easy to access for adjustments but I'm still skeptical about the long-term costs and it took some DIY effort to get it running right my takeaway is it works well for heating but might not be the most efficient choice for everyone :)
- Pros: It heats the water incredibly fast so no more shivering when I jump in and it seems sturdy with that special metal inside that handles our hard water here in Hyderabad without issues which is a big relief for someone like me who hates calling repair folks :)
- Cons: From what I feel it was a bit tricky to set up at first and I had to fiddle with the controls more than I expected for something that should be simple and it uses a lot of gas which makes me worry about the bills even though it saves on pump time
