i picked this up for under the kitchen cabinets to add some extra light while cooking, and it's been fairly useful. the hand wave thing is cool, but it takes a little practice to get it right every time. i've had it for a couple of months now, and it's held up well with regular use. it's easy to install with the adhesive backing, no tools needed, which is great for a diy beginner like me. the usb power means i can hook it up to a portable battery or a wall adapter, making it versatile. i wish it had more brightness settings or maybe a dimmer, but for the price, it's a decent buy. it's not the most powerful light out there, but it does the job for adding a soft glow. i'd recommend it if you're looking for something simple and easy to set up.
