as a stay-at-home parent in san antonio, i deal with cold mornings more than i'd like, especially when i'm out with the kids or on my bike. i bought these gloves hoping they'd solve the whole frozen fingers problem, and in some ways, they do—being able to text without exposing my skin is a game-changer. but the reality is, they're just okay. they keep my hands warm enough for short trips, like to the coffee shop, but if i'm outside for longer, i find myself wishing i had something heavier. the touch part works great, no complaints there, but the overall warmth and fit didn't quite meet my expectations. they're functional and simple, which i appreciate, but not super impressive. i might keep them for milder days or as a backup pair.
- Pros: i was super excited to get these gloves because i hate having to take them off just to use my phone in the cold, and they really do let me tap and swipe without any trouble. the material feels soft and warm, which is perfect for those chilly days when i'm out cycling or running errands. they arrived quickly and the packaging was intact, so no issues there.
- Cons: while they work with my phone, they're not as thick as i hoped for really cold weather; my hands still get a bit chilly after a while outside. also, the fit is a bit loose on me, which makes them feel less snug and secure, especially when i'm trying to grip things like my scooter handles. for the price, i expected a bit more insulation and a better fit.
