as an engineer i appreciate the smart design here the lean mechanism is clever and promotes good coordination skills in young kids my child loves riding it around the park and it has held up well over a few months of use the fact that parts are replaceable appeals to my diy side making it a sustainable choice overall its a solid product with minor flaws that dont outweigh the benefits i would recommend it to other parents looking for a safe and fun scooter for their little ones
- Pros: from what i feel the lean to steer setup is extremely intuitive for my kid it teaches balance naturally without them even realizing it and the adjustable handlebar means it grows with them which is top-notch for a family buyer like me the build is light yet sturdy with materials that seem durable and no assembly needed out of the box is a huge plus
- Cons: the rear brake could be a bit more responsive in my opinion it sometimes feels sluggish when my child needs to stop quickly and while the grip is good it might not be perfect for all weather conditions especially in winnipeg where it can get icy the price point is a bit high for what it is but not unreasonable
