As an engineer, I bought this on a whim for a small automotive project, thinking it would be a straightforward upgrade. In reality, it does the job well for basic temperature control, but it lacks some finesse. It seemed to me that while it's reliable and accurate, it's not the most user-friendly device out there. I'd recommend it for simple applications, but not for anything too complex. Overall, it's a decent tool that gets the basics right :)
