as a dad with multiple kids i was super excited to get this for them thinking it would be a perfect stem toy to keep them engaged and learning i have a background in building things so i thought it would be straightforward but reality hit when we unboxed it the setup was okay but the app had some issues connecting which frustrated the kids a bit they enjoeyd playing with the remote more and the robto moves well sensing colors and obstacles which is cool for experiments but i expected more durability and longer playtime between charges it's been about a month since we got it and they still use it but not as much as i hoped maybe i could be wrong but for the cost i expected a bit more value overall it's a good toy that teaches coding basics and they have fun with it but it's not the game-changer i imagined :)
- Pros: i picked this up at the store super convenient and my kids loved the bright green color right away it moves smoothly and responds well to commands the sensors make it feel smart like a real robot and they can control it with a remote or an app which is handy for didferent moods it's great for learning coding basics in a fun way without feeling like a chore
- Cons: i was disappoimted that it didn't live up to all my expectations the app could be glitchy at times and the battery life isn't as long as i hoped for the price i paid it feels a bit overpriced for what it offers and the instructions could be clearer for younger kids to follow along easily
