i got this to improve my tv sound after researching a bit, and from what i feel, it does a decent job for the price, the sound is rich and detailed, making everything from games to music sound better, but it's not perfect—the bass is a bit weak, so if you're into heavy beats or action movies, you might miss that rumble, after a bit of tweaking with the sound modes, i found one that works okay, but it's not as good as some others in the same price range that include a bass unit, overall, it's a solid upgrade from built-in tv speakers but not amazing, i'd recommend it if you're on a budget and don't need super deep bass
- Pros: the sound is extremely clear and loud, which is great for movies and music, and i love that it can split into two speakers for a more immersive feel, setup was easy with the different connection options, and it came with all the cables needed so no hassle
- Cons: it lacks a bit of deep bass, so explosions and low sounds aren't as powerful as i'd like, and without a separate bass unit, it feels a bit flat in some scenes, also had to fiddle with settings to get the best sound, which was a bit annoying
