as an office worker in new york with a kid, i bought this on a whim to help with security around our small home. it does the job for basic visibility, but i've had to fiddle with it a lot. a tip i'd share is to place it where it gets full sun all day, or it might not charge enough. overall, it's okay, but not great. 😕
- Pros: long story short, it's fairly bright and lights up my yard well, most likely making me feel safer at night. i like that it uses the sun to charge, saving on electricity, and the sensors pick up movement without me doing anything.
- Cons: but i'm disappointed because it doesn't stay on as long as i hoped after dark, and the angle adjustment is a bit tricky to get right. for the price, i expected it to be more reliable in all weather, but it sometimes acts up when it's cloudy.
