Decision:

I bought this to add some fun lighting to my gaming setup, hoping it would be an affordable way to enhance the atmosphere. The problem was finding something reliable that wouldn't break the bank. This strip offered a solution with its wide color range and flexibility, fitting nicely behind my desk. However, I was disappointed by the occasional connectivity issues and the weak adhesive, which meant I had to improvise to keep it in place. My takeaway is that it's a decent budget option if you're willing to deal with a few quirks, but it might not be the most durable choice long-term. Overall, it does the job for casual use :)

  • Pros: The colors are very vibrant and can be set to match any mood, from calming blues to energetic reds. It bends easily to fit around corners or tricky spots in my room. I appreciate that it works with voice commands through my smart home devices, making it convenient to adjust without a remote. The included adapter handles both US and European outlets, which is handy for travel or if you have international gear.
  • Cons: A couple of nitpicks: the connection to my home network seemed a bit finicky at times, dropping out unexpectedly. The adhesive on the back didn't hold up well on some surfaces, requiring extra tape. As it seemed to me, the initial setup could be smoother for someone not super tech-savvy, and the app felt a bit clunky to navigate.
