Decision:

i bought this as a gift for my family, thinking it would help us stay on top of the weather here in miami, where it can be unpredictable. as an entrepreneur, i value things that simplify life, and this does a decent job for the basics. setting it up was straightforward, even for someone like me who's not too tech-savvy. i've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's become part of our daily routine—checking the humidity helps with my interest in keeping the house feeling fresh, almost like a small touch of luxury. but honestly, i'm a bit disappointed because it doesn't live up to the hype of being a full weather predictor; it's more of a basic monitor. for the price, it's okay, but i expected more accuracy and maybe some smarter features. it works well enough for what it is, but i wouldn't call it revolutionary. from what i feel, it's a pragmatic choice if you just want simple readings without complications.

• Pros: the large screen makes it easy to read the temperature and humidity from across the room, which is quite handy for keeping an eye on things without getting up. i appreciate that it shows both inside and outside conditions, so i can plan my day better, and the alarm function helps me wake up on time without needing another device. the remote sensor lets me check different areas, like the patio or kids' rooms, which is useful for making sure everyone's comfortable.
• Cons: shipping took longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating since i bought it as a gift. from what i feel, the display could be brighter in direct sunlight, making it hard to read sometimes outdoors. it doesn't predict weather changes as accurately as i'd hoped, so i still rely on other sources for forecasts.
