So, why did I buy this? As a researcher, I always dig deep before purchasing, and this light seemed promising for my photo and video projects. But man, was I let down. I thought, 'This will add a cool vibe to my shots,' but the length just doesn't cut it. I can bend and twist it easily, which is a plus, and shouting commands to change colors is fun, but it's not enough. My wife and I tried using it in our living room, and it looked okay, but not wow. Maybe I expected too much? As it seemed to me, it's decent for small areas, but for bigger spaces, forget it. I'm emotional about this because I really wanted to love it, but it's just not meeting my needs. Would I recommend it? Only if you're doing something tiny.
- Pros: The light is extremely flexible and easy to shape however I want, making it perfect for creative setups around my home. Controlling it with my voice through my smart home devices is incredibly convenient, and the app works smoothly without any lag. Delivery was quick, and it arrived in great condition.
- Cons: Honestly, I was disappointed that the strip is only about three feet long—it felt too short for some of the spaces I wanted to decorate. The instructions in the manual were helpful, but I wish it had more guidance on installation, as it seemed a bit tricky to me at first.
