As a teacher and a bit of an impulsive buyer, I grabbed this for home security, especially with kids around. It does its job mostly, but I have some tips: place it away from areas with weak signal to avoid disconnections, and maybe adjust the sensitivity if possible to reduce false alarms. The delivery was delayed a day but fine, nothing major. Overall, it's helpful but not perfect :)

I liked that it sends alerts right away if a door or window opens, and the sound it makes is very loud, which should scare off anyone trying to get in.
