Before I got this Matast watch, I was using a simple analog timepiece and had to rely on guesswork for my daily activity. Now, it's nice to have something that tries to do it all, but I'm a bit skeptical. The health monitoring is a step up, tracking my heart and sleep automatically, which is useful for an old guy like me. However, the fitness part seems inconsistent—it'll say I've walked a kilometer when I've barely moved, probably because of my shaky hands or something. The screen is bright and responsive most of the time, but it lags occasionally, making me tap multiple times. I appreciate that it's durable and can handle a splash, but the short battery life means I'm always hunting for the charger. For the price, I thought it would be more precise and reliable. It's okay for basic use, but if you're a perfectionist like me, you might find it falls short. Not bad, but not great either :)
- Pros: I liked that the screen is very clear and easy to see, making it simple to check notifications or the time without straining my eyes. It tracks my heart rate and sleep without me having to do anything, which is handy for keeping an eye on my health. Being able to wear it in the rain or while washing hands without worry is a big plus, and it reminds me to get up and move when I've been sitting too long—something I often forget.
- Cons: I expected more accuracy in the fitness tracking; sometimes it seems off, like counting steps when I'm just petting my dog. The battery doesn't last as long as I'd hoped, needing a charge every couple of days, which is annoying. It feels a bit bulky on my wrist, and the touch screen can be slow to respond at times. Also, it doesn't work perfectly with all my older gadgets, which is frustrating for someone who likes things to just work.
