as a dad with a busy family, i picked this up hoping to simplify things, and mostly it does—just tell the tv to change the channel or find a show, and it usually listens. but man, when it mishears me, it's a pain, especially with the kids yelling in the background. i've found that speaking slowly and clearly helps, but it's not foolproof. for the price, it's decent, but don't expect it to read your mind. overall, it's handy, but could be better.
- Pros: it's awesome that i can just talk to my tv instead of pressing buttons, and it fits really well in my hand, making it easy to use when i'm lounging around with the kids.
- Cons: it could be wrong, but sometimes it doesn't understand what i'm saying, which is too frustrating, and it only works with certain tvs, so it's not as universal as i hoped.
