I bought this because I wanted something to help keep an eye on our home, especially with grandkids visiting often. Setting it up was straightforward, and I appreciated that it worked right away without much hassle. The clear screen and two-way talk are great for answering the door from the couch, but I've had moments where the video gets fuzzy or the sound cuts out, which makes me question its dependability. It's decent for basic use, but not as amazing as I'd hoped—maybe it's just me, but I think it could be better. Overall, it does the job, but I'm not completely satisfied.
- Pros: I liked that it was easy to set up and worked right away, which was a relief for someone like me who isn't great with gadgets. The screen is extremely clear, making it feel like I'm actually at the door when I'm not, and being able to talk to people from my phone is handy—no more shouting through the door. The night vision helps me see who's there even after dark, and it connects to my home network so I can check on things from anywhere, which gives me peace of mind for my family's safety.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the video quality isn't always perfect, especially when the light is low, and sometimes the connection drops, which can be frustrating.
