so i got this smart valve a couple months ago because i wanted to save on heating bills and make my home more comfortable without a lot of hassle being in the military taught me to value efficiency and this seemed like a good fit at first it was exciting to set up i downloaded the app and tried to get it working with my existing smart home setup but i ran into some hiccups it took me a while to figure out the pairing process and i had to restart things a few times which was annoying once it was up and running though i loved being able to adjust the temperature from my couch or even from bed using my voice with alexa its very handy and i noticed my energy usage dropped a bit which is a plus for my low income situation but its not perfect sometimes the valve doesnt respond when i change settings or it takes a minute to update which can be a bit irritating i also wish it was a bit more intuitive out of the box without needing so much tweaking overall its a decent mid ranger it does what it promises but could be smoother i'd recommend it with some patience but its not the best out there
- Pros: i really like how it connects with my other smart stuff making it easy to control everything together the app is simple to use and setting schedules from my phone is super convenient it saves energy which is great for my budget and it works with voice commands so i can just ask to change the temperature without getting up
- Cons: the setup was a bit tricky and i had some issues getting it to pair properly at first it could be more reliable as it sometimes doesnt respond right away and the instructions werent very clear which was frustrating for someone not super techy
