Emerson ST76 Smart Thermostat with Touchscreen Color Display: Works with room sensors
Ever wished you could tweak your home's temperature from the couch—or heck, even from the beach? The Sensi Touch 2 Smart Thermostat lets you do just that with its slick remote control feature. Pair it with Sensi room sensors, and it’s like having a personal temperature butler, making sure every room is just right. Just a heads-up: you’ll need a C wire to get it playing nice with most HVAC systems in the U.S. and Canada.
Think installing a smart thermostat sounds like a job for the pros? Think again. The Sensi app walks you through setup like a patient friend, making it a DIY dream. And here’s the kicker: you could shave about 23% off your energy bill. How? With nifty tricks like flexible scheduling and the ability to adjust settings from anywhere—because who doesn’t love saving money without lifting a finger?
Oh, and it plays well with others too. Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings? Check. Voice control and smart home automation? Double check. Plus, Sensi keeps your secrets safe—no selling your info to sketchy third parties. Because privacy should be a given, not a premium feature.

when I first got this thermostat I was excited about controlling my home's climate remotely and it does deliver on that the setup was straightforward thanks to the app and I like that it works with voice assistants but I have to say I expected more after reading about potential savings my energy costs haven't dropped as much as I anticipated and the need for that extra wire was an unexpected hurdle it's functional and does what it promises but it doesn't wow me I'm keeping it for now but might look for something with better performance in the future
- Pros: i was really impressed with how easy it was to set up myself using the app it felt like having a helpful guide right there and being able to change the temperature from anywhere even when I'm away is super convenient it integrates smoothly with my other smart home gadgets and I appreciate that the company doesn't share my data which makes me feel secure
- Cons: from what I feel it was a letdown that it requires a specific wire for installation which was a hassle since my home didn't have it ready and I expected more in terms of energy savings it hasn't made a very noticeable difference in my bills yet and the overall experience feels a bit basic compared to what I hoped for
