i got this thermostat a couple of weeks ago after doing a lot of research online, and overall, it's been a good addition to my home. as a stay-at-home dad in miami, i'm always trying to keep the house comfortable without running up the bills. the packaging was intact when it arrived, which was a relief. i installed it myself—it took some time to get it working with my air conditioner, but once i did, it's been reliable. i use the app most days to tweak the temp while i'm cooking or relaxing, and the knob is nice for quick changes. it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some fancier models, but for the price, it does what it promises. i'd say it's a solid choice if you're on a budget and want something simple that you can control from your couch.
