Soewolit SO507YW Smart Smoke Detector with 10-Year Battery: 10-year replaceable battery
Meet the Smart Smoke Detector—your home's new guardian angel. It's not just smart; it's practically genius, with a 10-year replaceable battery (because who remembers to change batteries every year?) and Wi-Fi connectivity to keep you in the loop, no matter where you are. Its photoelectric sensor is like a bloodhound for smoke, sniffing out trouble before it starts, and thanks to the Smart Life App, your phone becomes your personal safety officer. And let's not forget the 85dB alarm—loud enough to wake you from your deepest Netflix binge. Plus, its mini size means it won't cramp your style, fitting snugly wherever you need it.
Here's the lowdown on what makes it tick:
- Get real-time alerts straight to your phone—because finding out about a fire via carrier pigeon is so last century.
- A test/silence button that's actually convenient (no more fumbling in the dark).
- 360° smoke inlets that don't miss a trick—or a whiff of smoke.
- It'll even nag you about low batteries, because it cares.
- Plays nice with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, making setup a breeze.
Whether it's guarding your home, RV, or office, this smoke detector is all about keeping you safe and sound—so you can sleep tight, knowing you're covered.

as an older person living alone, safety is a big deal for me, and this Soewolit detector does a good job overall. it caught my attention because i'm loyal to brands i trust, and this one seemed reliable. the battery life is amazing, and i appreciate not having to worry about it for years. the sound is really loud, which is comforting, but the wifi setup was a hassle—i had to use my phone and it took a few tries to connect properly. the app sends me messages when something's wrong, but it doesn't always feel instant, and i wish it was simpler to use. for the price, it's a solid choice, but i'd recommend it with a caveat for folks who aren't comfortable with technology. it's definitely better than my old one, and it gives me peace of mind, especially when i'm cooking and might forget something on the stove :)
- Pros: i love that it works out of the box and the battery lasts super long, no need to fuss with changing it often. getting alerts on my phone is a lifesaver, and the alarm is loud enough to wake me from anything. it's small and fits anywhere, which is great for my kitchen where i do a lot of cooking.
- Cons: it seems a bit tricky to set up with the wifi at first, had to get help from my grandson. the app is not super easy for someone like me who's not tech-savvy, and sometimes the alerts come in late, which makes me a bit nervous.
