so, why did i buy this? well, my original key fob for my dodge ram stopped working, and i didn't want to pay a fortune at the dealership. this thing promised an easy diy solution, and for the most part, it delivered. i followed the instructions to program it, which involved a few steps with the ignition and buttons—kinda annoying, but i managed after a couple tries. now, it locks and unlocks the doors fine from across the parking lot, and the remote start is a nice touch for warming up the truck on cool mornings. it's built tough, feels good in the hand, and hasn't shown any signs of wear yet. but sometimes, i have to press the button more than once to get a response, which makes me a bit skeptical about how long it'll last. overall, it's a smart buy for the price, saving me money and hassle, but it's not perfect. would i recommend it? yeah, if you're handy and patient, it's worth a shot. :)
