I bought these as a gift for my wife to spruce up our living room, and overall, they do the job, but I'm a bit disappointed. They look sleek and modern, and the range of colors is impressive—we've enjoyed trying out different shades for movie nights. However, the smart features aren't as seamless as I hoped; sometimes the lights don't respond to voice commands, and I have to fiddle with the app. The waterproof aspect is a plus for our porch, but indoors, it's not a big deal. For the price, I expected better reliability. They're good, but not great—so-so, really. If you're into tech and don't mind some hiccups, they might work for you, but I'm skeptical about recommending them wholeheartedly.
- Pros: The lights are super bright and can change to any color I imagine, which is great for setting different moods in the room. I like that I can control them with my voice through Alexa or with the app, making it easy to adjust things without getting up. The installation was straightforward, and they fit nicely into the ceiling without sticking out.
- Cons: From what I feel, the connection can be a bit unreliable at times, dropping out and needing a reset, which is frustrating. The music sync feature doesn't always work as expected and feels more like a gimmick than a useful tool. Also, the app can be confusing to navigate, and I wish the remote had more intuitive buttons.
