i've had this for a couple of weeks now, and overall, it's a solid upgrade from my old lights. the packaging was intact when it arrived, which was a relief. i appreciate how it integrates with my other smart devices, but i wish the full functionality didn't require an additional purchase. it's quiet enough and doesn't make any noise, which is important in my home with a child. for the price, i expected a bit more, but it does what it promises well. i'd recommend it if you're okay with the extra cost for the hub, but it's not perfect.
- Pros: the setup was incredibly easy with the app, no complex wiring needed, and it fits perfectly into my existing ceiling fixtures. i love how i can change the light from warm to cool with a simple tap, and it's bright enough to light up the room well without being harsh. being able to control it with my voice through my smart home system is a nice touch, and it feels energy-efficient, which is great for saving on bills.
- Cons: from what i feel, it's a bit disappointing that to use all the features like controlling it remotely, i had to buy an extra hub separately, which adds to the cost. compared to what i used before, the initial price is higher, and the app can be a bit glitchy at times, making adjustments not always smooth. also, the light options, while good, don't have as many colors as i expected for the price.
