as a student and mom with a tight budget, i needed something reliable for our vehicles, and this charger seemed like a good pick. i used it a few times when my car battery died after sitting too long—once in the driveway and another time when we were stuck after a concert. it got the car started quickly, which was a relief with the kids in tow. but when i tried it on my husband's motorcycle, it didn't do much, and that was frustrating. overall, it's helpful for basic car needs, but not perfect. i'd recommend it with caution if you only have standard car batteries.
- Pros: it's a game changer for getting a dead battery going again, especially with the kids' activities and my old car. it seems fairly powerful and easy to use, just plug it in and it does its thing without much fuss. i like that it's small enough to keep in the trunk and has a smart feature that helps revive weak batteries, making it handy for emergencies.
