i bought this on a whim thinking it would solve all my key problems and mostly it does the reality is it's super convenient for my lifestyle no more fumbling with keys when my hands are full with pet stuff i love that i can use codes or my phone to get in and the auto lock feature is a lifesaver for someone forgetful like me but the extra cost for the gateway to make it work remotely feels like a sneaky add-on and the battery doesn't last as long as i'd like especially with frequent use overall it's a solid upgrade from traditional locks and i'm happy with it though it's not perfect
- Pros: i expected it to be a hassle but setting it up was awesome and quick it locks itself if i forget which is great for my pets when i'm out the app lets me control it from anywhere and the finish looks sharp on my door
- Cons: from what i feel the gateway is too expensive and sold separately which is a bummer the battery warnings are helpful but it drains faster than i hoped and the keypad can be finicky in the texas heat
