as an older guy who's into tech and gaming, i thought this smart lock would be overkill, but reality is it fits right into my home setup. i can check on things remotely, which is great with multiple kids running around. setup was straightforward, and it works with various devices i already have. only downside is the dependence on the app—feels a bit risky if something goes wrong. overall, it's a solid addition, though not perfect.
- Pros: i expected a hassle, but it's awesome how easily it connects to my phone and other gadgets, letting me lock up from anywhere without keys, which is quite handy for keeping the family safe.
- Cons: it seems to rely heavily on the app, which can be a pain if my phone's dead or the connection drops, and i wish it had a simpler backup for the kids.
