as a gift buyer for my home, i was drawn to this for its security features. it arrived on time, which was great. i've used it for a couple of months now, and overall, it's decent. the fingerprint reader is quick and adapts well, but i've had moments where it didn't recognize me, which was frustrating. using codes or my phone works fine, but i miss having a backup like a card or something. the app integration is handy for checking on things remotely, though it can be slow to update. for the price, it's okay, but not amazing. i'd recommend it if you're looking for something basic, but there might be better options out there. it's functional, but not perfect.
- Pros: i quite like how fast it unlocks with my fingerprint, and it's saved me a few times when my hands were wet or dirty. managing access for friends is easy, and it connects well with my phone and voice assistant. the battery lasts a long time, and installation was straightforward.
- Cons: the connection can be a bit unreliable sometimes, and i wish it had more ways to unlock beyond what's offered. it's most likely not the most stylish option out there, and the auto-lock feature doesn't always feel necessary.
