my first impression was mixed—i was excited about the sleek design and the idea of a smarter home, but after using it for a short while, i've run into a few hiccups. as a freelancer who values security for my family, this lock does a decent job, but it's not perfect. i appreciate the ease of adding codes for my child, but the occasional glitches make me a bit unhappy. overall, it's a step up from traditional locks, but i hope future versions iron out these kinks. for now, it meets my rational needs without being too flashy, fitting well with my home and garden interests in vancouver, where metric units are the norm.
