before i bought this i was using old manual switches and it was a hassle running around the house to turn things off after getting the kids to bed now with this switch i thought it would be a game-changer but honestly it's been a mixed bag on the plus side it does make things more convenient when it works like dimming the lights from the couch while watching a movie or setting schedules but the reliability issues are a big letdown it frequently disconnects from the wifi and requires resetting which is annoying and the lack of compatibility with some of my other devices means i can't integrate it fully into my setup as it seemed to me the build quality is decent but not great and for someone who bought it on a whim expecting more it's just okay not amazing i'd say it's a step up from before but not the huge leap i hoped for subjectively it's fine if you're okay with some quirks
- Pros: the delivery was quick and it looks fairly sleek on the wall like a piece of modern art installation was easy to set up without any wires which i appreciated and being able to control the lights from my phone or with my voice while i'm cooking or lounging around is a nice touch
- Cons: it seemed to me that the connection drops fairly often especially when i'm not home which defeats the purpose of remote control and the touch panel is too sensitive my kids keep accidentally turning lights on and off leading to chaos also it only works with certain systems not all my existing smart home stuff which is disappointing for the price
