as someone who values home security and ease i found this lock to be a good fit overall it blends well with my smart home setup and the multiple ways to unlock it are very handy for daily use i appreciate the ability to manage access for guests without keys though the hub requirement is a letdown the packaging was intact when it arrived and it was simple to install myself after using it for a couple of weeks i feel it does its job well but it's not perfect i'd recommend it with that caveat for others looking to upgrade their locks
- Pros: i must say the setup was very easy for a diy person like me all parts were there and it felt sturdy the fingerprint and keypad options are convenient for quick access and i like that it works with my voice assistant and other smart home things the auto locking feature gives me peace of mind knowing it secures itself automatically
- Cons: i was disappointed that it needs an extra hub to use all the features which feels like an unnecessary expense and hassle also the reliance on batteries means i have to keep an eye on power which could be a bother over time the alerts can be a bit too frequent at times
