before i got this, night fishing was a real chore, just staring into the dark hoping for a bite and missing a lot of action. now, with this float from Garage Right, it's a whole different experience. i clip it on, switch it on, and it handles the watching for me. the alerts are immediate, and that light is a nice bonus for keeping things visible without straining my eyes. as a pragmatist, i appreciate how it turns a frustrating task into something targeted and efficient. it's not perfect, but for the improvement it brings, it's worth it :)
- Pros: the bite detection is extremely sensitive, it alerts me instantly when a fish touches the bait, which cuts down on missed strikes. the light is piercing and unmissable in the dark, saving my night vision and making night fishing way less of a guessing game. it's built tough and handles both fresh and saltwater without issues, plus the long tail design keeps it stable in choppy conditions.
- Cons: it seems a bit pricey for what it does, and the battery life could be better, i find myself charging it more often than i'd like. sometimes it gives false alarms in very windy conditions, even with the stability feature.
