I bought this hoping to upgrade my home lighting without much hassle, and in reality, it's a mixed bag. The courier called ahead for delivery, which was nice, but setting it up made me realize it's not as reliable as I'd hoped. For brightness and color changes, it works well when it connects, but I've had moments where it just won't respond, leaving me fumbling more than before. As a rationalist, I expected better performance for the cost—it's very stylish and adds a cool vibe for gaming, but the occasional glitches make me question if it's worth it. Overall, it's okay, but not the game-changer I imagined.
- Pros: The installation was very easy, as it seemed to me, and I liked that I could adjust the light from my phone without getting up. Changing colors is fun for gaming nights, and it does sync with music, which my kid enjoys during our little dance parties.
- Cons: The connectivity can be so-so; sometimes it drops out, and the colors don't always match what I expect. It feels a bit gimmicky for daily use, and I'm cautious about how long it will last, given the price.
