so i got this smart candle lamp thing from ouuzuu, thinking it'd make my place look nicer without much effort. i'm an engineer, so i'm always skeptical about these gadgets, and honestly, it's kinda meh. setting it up took longer than i thought—had to mess with the app and my router, and it didn't connect smoothly. once it's working, it's convenient to adjust the light from bed or use alexa, but it's not perfect. sometimes it lags or doesn't change when i tell it to, which is frustrating. the colors are fun, but not very vibrant, and the brightness could be better. overall, it does the job, but i'm not super impressed. could be wrong, but i feel like there are better options out there. i'd only recommend it if you're really into smart home stuff and don't mind some quirks.
- Pros: it connects to my wifi and i can change the colors or dim it from my phone, which is pretty cool when i'm feeling lazy. works with voice assistants too, so i can just tell it what to do without getting up.
