so, why did i get this? well, my old key was getting all scratched up from bouncing around in my pocket with coins and stuff—not a good look, especially when i'm trying to keep things tidy as a chef. compared to what i used before, which was basically nothing, this is a huge upgrade. it snaps on and off easily for battery changes, which is handy. i've only had it for a couple of weeks, but it's already saved my key from a few potential disasters. it's a simple thing, but it does its job really well. would i recommend it? yeah, most likely, especially if you're like me and want to keep your gear in good shape without spending a ton. it's a decent mid-ranger for sure. 😊
