As a freelancer working from home in Chicago, I bought this hoping to make my life easier, especially with our cold winters and my love for keeping things warm for my pets. I've been using it for a couple of months now, and overall, it does a solid job. I like that I can tweak the heat from my couch or even when I'm out, but I've had a few hiccups with the connection dropping occasionally. It's integrated well with my existing setup, and the clear display is a big plus for late-night adjustments. However, given my deal-hunter nature, I'm a bit disappointed that it didn't come with more robust features or better reliability for the price. Still, it's functional and meets most of my needs, so I'd cautiously recommend it with some reservations.
