As an older guy who likes to keep things straightforward this system does the job but it's not perfect. I appreciate that it works without dropping connection thanks to its wireless setup and I can monitor my home from anywhere which gives some peace of mind. However the constant notifications can be annoying and I had to fiddle a lot to get it working right. For the price it's FAIRLY decent but I expected smoother operation. It's okay for basic security but might not be the best if you want something super reliable without hassles. I'd recommend it with reservations if you're on a budget and don't mind a bit of tinkering.
- Pros: I finally got this system set up and it connects well through my home network and mobile data which is a relief for staying in touch. The app lets me check on things from my phone which is handy and the doorbell feature adds a nice touch to the security setup.
- Cons: The alerts can be a bit much sometimes waking me up for small issues and the setup was fairly tricky for someone not too tech-savvy. It most likely could use better instructions or simpler controls.
