Decision:

I bought this on a whim because it looked fun and practical, but my first impression was a bit disappointing. When the courier called ahead to deliver it, I was excited to try it out right away. The sound is fairly good when it works, with a nice bass that makes music enjoyable, but I've had issues with it disconnecting during phone calls, which is a big letdown. Also, the hat itself feels bulky and doesn't sit well on my head—it's like it's designed for someone else. For the price, I expected more reliability, especially since I'm competent with tech gadgets. It's a neat concept, but in practice, it falls short and doesn't live up to the hype. I'd say it's more of a novelty than a must-have.

i was excited about the concept—combining my love for music with the need for sun protection seemed like a win-win. but after using it for a couple of weeks, the novelty wore off quickly. the sound is just okay, not the concert experience i was hoping for. the hat itself is too heavy and doesn't sit right, making it uncomfortable for long periods. the noise cancelling is practically non-existent in windy conditions, which is a letdown. for the price, i expected something more refined and less gimmicky. it's a clever idea, but the execution falls short. i wouldn't buy it again, and i can't recommend it unless you're really into quirky gadgets that prioritize style over substance.

I had high hopes for this hat imagining it would blend seamlessly into my active lifestyle offering both style and substance. While it does stand out in terms of concept the execution leaves much to be desired. The sound while clear lacks the depth I crave and the hat itself doesn’t sit right on my head making it a nuisance rather than a pleasure to wear. For the price I expected perfection and this is far from it. It’s a novel idea but one that needs more refinement to appeal to someone with my standards.

• Pros: The idea of a hat with built-in sound seemed EXTREMELY innovative to me as a designer always on the lookout for functional fashion. The protection from the sun is decent and the hat feels sturdy enough for my cycling trips around Mumbai.
• Cons: The reality fell short of my expectations. The sound quality while better than expected for something built into a hat was not up to the mark for someone with my professional background. The fit was awkward making it uncomfortable for long wear and the controls were not as intuitive as I hoped. The waterproofing as it seemed to me was more of a marketing gimmick than a practical feature.
