before i got this, my home automation was a bit of a mess with different gadgets not talking to each other. after setting it up, it's better—i can turn lights on from my phone or just by speaking, which is intuitive for someone like me who's not new to tech. but it's not perfect; it feels like it could be more consistent, and i'm not sure if it's worth the cost in the long run. overall, it's an okay addition, but i might look for something else if this one gives me more trouble.
- Pros: i liked how easy it was to set up—just plugged it in and it worked right away with the app, no fuss. being able to control things with my voice through alexa is super handy, and it keeps the place looking tidy without extra wires.
- Cons: it could be wrong, but i found it doesn't always connect well with all my older devices, and sometimes there's a delay when i give commands. for the price, i expected a bit more reliability, especially since i'm on a budget.
