As a chef I appreciate things that work smoothly and save me time and this gadget does that for my garden I have a small backyard with some herbs and veggies and after using it for a couple of months it has kept everything fairly healthy without me worrying too much I set it up in an afternoon and mostly forgot about it which is great BUT I did have a moment where it didnt water on schedule and I had to manually intervene not a big deal but something to watch for overall it does what it says and I dont regret buying it though its not perfect I might recommend it to others with similar needs :)
- Pros: I liked that I could control the watering from my phone without getting up which was handy for my busy schedule and the screen showed me what was happening clearly so I knew my plants were getting just enough water not too much or too little and it was fairly simple to set up no complicated steps just plug it in and connect to my home network
- Cons: Sometimes it felt a bit slow to respond when I changed settings and I had to check the connection a few times as it seemed to drop out once or twice which was annoying and the display could be hard to read in bright sunlight making me squint a bit
