Before getting this, I was always forgetting to close the garage door after coming home from work, and my kids would leave it open too—it was a real hassle. Now, with this gadget, I can control it from anywhere, which is a big improvement. I bought it as a gift for myself to make life easier, and it does help, but it's not perfect. I'm a beginner with tech, so I appreciate that it was mostly straightforward, but I wish it worked more consistently. Overall, it's a decent addition, but I might look for something better in the future.
- Pros: I really like how I can just tell it to open or close with my voice, and it works most of the time, which is very handy. The app is a solid way to check on things from my phone when I'm out, and setting it to open and close on its own schedule is great for my routine.
- Cons: Sometimes the voice commands don't respond right away, and I've had a few moments where the connection dropped, making me worry it wasn't working. It's not as reliable as I'd hoped, and setup, while easy, took me a bit longer to figure out than expected.
