When I first got this light I was cautious given my rational approach to tech but it quickly became a workhorse in my home office I use it daily for my photo and video projects adjusting the light to get the perfect shot without harsh shadows The ability to set timers means my lights turn on automatically when I start work which is a huge help and voice control via Alexa means I dont have to stop what Im doing to adjust things However I had some issues during setup because it only works with a certain Wi-Fi band and that was frustrating The music sync is fun for parties but not something I rely on for professional use Overall its a solid choice for someone who values functionality and energy savings but it has a few quirks that keep it from being perfect
- Pros: I was extremely impressed with how this light can change to any color I imagine and adjust the white light from warm to cool it made my photos and videos look fantastic without extra equipment and the voice control through my smart speaker worked flawlessly saving me time and effort
- Cons: As it seemed to me the setup required a specific network type which was a hassle and the music feature didn't sync as well as I hoped feeling a bit gimmicky at times and for a professional like me I wish it integrated more seamlessly with other devices without extra apps
