So I bought this as a gift for my brother who's into smart home stuff, and he seems to like it. I set it up myself—wasn't too hard but took a bit of patience. It controls the fan and lights well with taps or by talking to it, which is cool for gaming sessions when I don't want to get up. The safety aspect is a plus, no worries there. Overall, it does what it says, but it's not perfect. I'd recommend it if you want something simple and modern, but don't expect anything fancy. :)
